Here at Skindeep Medi-Spas, we understand that Brazilian waxing is a very intimate type of waxing and our priority is to make your experience as quick, painless and comfortable as possible. When it comes to booking your Brazilian waxing appointment, our experienced therapists are the ultimate professionals who have performed the all-over waxing technique for many years.
Whether this is your first Brazilian or you’re a seasoned professional, we promise to treat you with respect, courtesy and discretion at all times. Our technique for Brazilian waxing is best described as an extreme bikini waxing treatment that removes hair from the entire pubic region, although some people may choose to leave a “landing strip” (a small patch just above the vaginal area).
We pride ourselves on using only premium quality Azulene disposable hot wax, which is proven to last longer and hurt less than cheaper ‘strip’ waxes. This type of wax is made for sensitive skin, so it’s great for underarms, bikini & Brazilian waxing.

How long will the results last?
After your first waxing, the results can last four to six weeks depending on your hair re-growth rate and the season. Warmer months tend to encourage faster re-growth rates compared to the cooler seasons, therefore your hair grows quicker during summer.
In most cases, you will see minimal hair re-growth during the first three weeks, with noticeable increases thereafter. Continued waxing encourages sparse hair re-growth. If you consistently wax an area on a regular monthly basis, you will benefit in three ways:
- It will be easier and quicker each time
- It’s much cheaper as it requires less time and less wax.
- Clients say it is easily tolerable.
What is involved in a Brazilian?
The style of ‘Brazilian Waxing’ can refer to different extremes of hair removal, based on personal preference. When you enquire about Brazilian waxing in Perth, your therapist will confirm which areas you would like to have your hair removed.
A full Brazilian includes hair removal from the front pubic region to the gluteal crease and everywhere in between! It’s your body and we want you to feel comfortable at all times, so please consult with your therapist if you would prefer certain areas not to be waxed.
During the treatment, the Azulene disposable hot wax is applied thinly to the hair to be removed and then “shrink-wraps” around the hairs, and is pulled off after it dries.
While waxing, it’s best to wear the disposable G-string provided, as this can be maneuvered to assist in pulling different areas of skin tautly for comfort. You may also be asked to help stabilize an area with your hand, especially when towards the middle of the labia where there’s no firm bone or muscle underneath. We’ll also ask you to pull your knee up towards your chest so we may remove the hairs underneath. By doing it this way, it pulls the skin tighter so there is less discomfort.
Because people’s idea of a Brazilian wax in Perth are not always the same, some clients prefer to have their undercarriage all the way around to their bottom waxed; however, some customers choose not to. We may ask you to lie on one side, draped with the towel and we’ll wax from the pubic area to the gluteal crease – smooth from front to bottom. After the hairs are removed and you’re happy with the completed treatment (we can only work with what you tell us you wish to have done, so make sure you do explain how much you like removed), we’ll apply some after wax soothing lotion to the area.
Does it hurt?
We aim to make your wax as painless as possible, but with sensitive areas like the pubic region, it can sometimes be uncomfortable.
The pain level will depend on a few factors, such as:
- The strength of your hair, and
- Skin sensitivity
Our aim is to complete your wax as quickly and pain-free as we can, but if you feel uncomfortable at any time, please make sure you tell your therapist, as there are a variety of things we can do to help reduce the pain.
Our use of premium hot wax does help reduce the sensitivity on your skin and as mentioned, if done every month the treatment becomes more simple, effective and less painful.
